WHY THIS EXISTS
Born From a Personal Promise
L.O.V.E. F.U.N.D.S. was created by the founder of TAJ Fundraising after living through the very moment this scholarship is designed to prevent.
Her daughter was going into the 11th grade - an A-B student, never in trouble, and a dedicated volleyball player on an elite AAU travel team. A future D1 university had already promised her a full-ride scholarship. Everything she'd worked for was within reach.
Then a life situation changed everything. The financial resources that had made her participation possible were suddenly gone - and she was on the verge of losing her spot on the team and the future she'd built.
Her volleyball club rallied around her and created a scholarship just for her, so she could stay on the team and keep her dream alive. Because of that single act of community, she received her full ride, graduated early, and became a CPA within her first year after graduation.
"I kept thinking - what about all the other kids? The ones still waiting for their chance? The ones whose dreams are just as big, just as real, just as deserved?"
That question became the foundation of L.O.V.E. F.U.N.D.S. - because every child doing great things deserves a community that believes in them.

How It Helps
A Safety Net for Big Dreams
When a caregiver faces a life-changing event, a young person shouldn't have to give up the activity they love. The scholarship helps keep them in the game, on the stage, and on track.

Apply on Behalf of a Student
Activity leaders can apply for a L.O.V.E. F.U.N.D.S. award for a student who has completed a qualifying campaign. Awards are based on program criteria and available funds. Reach out and we'll walk you through eligibility and next steps.
